 JOSH THOMAS  (Laprise '07)

(Bimini Twist X John Peat) Tetraploid, 5” flower, 40” tall, Evergreen, Midseason, 3-way branching, 36 buds

Rose red flower with a purple base. The tri-colored petal edge is dark purple to white, framed with a gold ruffle. Lighter picotee edge on the sepals. This heavy-duty extremely cold-hardy New England hybrid with arching foliage is broad and thick. Totally rust and disease resistant here for a number of years. It has strong, sturdy scapes and excellent branching to support our newest endeavor in complex color and design. This daylily’s namesake is my grandson, Josh Thomas, who is a big, strong and very creative young man. JOSH THOMAS is an excellent daylily to use when hybridizing for dormancy and rust/disease resistance. Easily fertile both ways.

Josh Thomas $100 DF
